Kid Rock Never Disappoints
I had to jump on the deal when I heard Laura Ramoso was doing shows for $20, and I actually scored 1st level tickets with great views for both dates. Surprisingly, I thought Kool & the Gang was quite entertaining as they blazed through about a 50 minute greatest hits set. Definitely the best stage presence of this generation. He played an hour and a half as opposed to his normal 2 hour set, but I'm not complaining for the price. As for Uncle Kracker, I wish I could say something positive about his set, but it was flat out boring. They certainly appear that they are having a great time while performing and that makes a world of difference to an audience. The set he does is more or less a greatest hits set and that's fine because most of his hits are stellar, not including Picture in that regard. I probably would have arrived later if I knew what I know now. Overall, a great way to spend $30 bucks for an outing. His shows for the good seats are normally 3-4 times that amount.
